Focus Areas


Cyber and Convergence Technologies

Develop or improve current technologies supporting Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations to include cyber and signals collection as these technologies increasingly converge with other systems and technologies to include, but not limited to the Internet of Things (IOT), telematics, and emerging "Smart" technologies.

Signature Management, Identity Intelligence, and Media Exploitation

Develop or improve technologies that provide operators and analysts with tools to protect identifying information; to detect adversarial efforts designed to discover and exploit that information; and to analyze language and other patterns of recognition through development of media exploitation tools.

Special Communications

Develop or enhance advanced communication technologies in support of Special Operations and intelligence collection activities.

Technical Collection

Develop and enhance multi-Intelligence collection sensors, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) collection, and Tagging, Tracking, and Locating technologies to support intelligence operations and support development or improvements to technologies providing Strategic and Operational Level Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities to include space and stratospheric platforms and sensors. Develop Advanced Surveillance and Counter Surveillance audio and video technologies, as well as automated tools and techniques to defeat adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and methodologies.
