Description:
An advanced analytics enterprise platform for the information environment that uses a suite of machine learning algorithms to harness multiple large datasets to expose relevant trends and connections, forecast future scenarios for operations in the information environment (OIE), and provide the user with confidence intervals and metrics to support forecasts. The system automatically selects data subsets from multiple DoD data repository feeds that are most relevant to the phenomena being analyzed. The system also offers an interactive user interface that supports geographic information systems mapping for geographic selection, highlighting, and fencing for areas of interest.
Operational Impact:
This enterprise platform enables analysts to use dispersed data feeds from multiple independent systems to conduct predictive analytics on a single application for strategic decisions. The system will integrate data streams and unify software capabilities into an easy-to-use workflow that supports analysis on the impacts of friendly and adversarial OIE from open source and publicly available information.
Transition:
Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) has leveraged their Tradewinds Other Transaction Authority (OTA) to perform extended operational test and evaluation. OSD CDAO has administrative authority to issue software licenses and/or user accounts to select DoD end users.
